2002/Car Location Tracker

If you have an iPhone I believe this simple security hack might be of help. I recently hid an Apple Airtag in my 2002. For $30 it is a basic form of lo-jack that uses bluetooth to ping its location when around iPhones. I believe it works worldwide. My thinking is many people have iPhones so even though this isn’t a perfect security solution it is worth the price. The battery supposedly lasts for one year and has a replaceable battery. For the price it seems like a simple way to know where my car is.

Bavarian Econs - All Electric BMW 2002

Today I discovered on Instagram this company called Bavarian Econs. They are building an electric 2002 called the 2002te with parts from Tesla and BMW it appears. It is a very interesting idea with many large urban European cities banning old cars from them. This electric 02 will be able to exist there. This concept of a electric 2002 isn’t new, in 1972 for the Munich Olympics BMW created two electric versions. 2002FAQ Article on these cars.
